Rise by lifting others.
The story of ImWinning314 starts with one man's journey — and a belief that anyone can win, no matter where they're starting from.

James Taylor
My name is James Taylor, founder of ImWinning314, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals increase their self-efficacy through physical exercise. My journey to creating this organization began through some of the most challenging experiences of my life.
In 2018, I entered Teen Challenge seeking a new direction and a better future. Through faith, accountability, personal growth, and perseverance, I successfully graduated from the program in March 2019. That experience transformed my life and showed me the power of believing in yourself, overcoming obstacles, and creating positive habits that lead to lasting change.
While in recovery, I discovered the incredible impact that physical exercise can have on a person's confidence, mindset, and overall well-being. Exercise became more than just a way to stay healthy — it became a tool for rebuilding self-worth, developing discipline, and finding purpose. That realization inspired me to create a program that could help others facing similar struggles.
Built on the people who believed first.
As the vision grew, so did the mission. What started as a desire to help individuals struggling with addiction expanded into a commitment to serve the entire community. Today, ImWinning314 supports people of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, and life experiences by providing opportunities to improve physical health, mental wellness, and personal confidence.
I'm proud to lead a diverse team of nine dedicated board members who share the same passion for community impact. Together, we create programs, events, and partnerships that encourage individuals to believe in themselves and recognize their ability to overcome life's challenges.
Every event, every workout, and every opportunity is designed to remind people that no matter their past or present circumstances, they are capable of winning in life.
